Having back pain for 4 days & its spreading to shoulders middle spine & both sides of upper back. feela tense with deep breath & am anxious of pulmonary embolism. minor chest pressure but have gerd sore even at rest could this be muscular or serious?

I believe that this spreading mid and upper back pains involving both sides is of musculoskeletal origin rather than due to any other organ pathology. It appears to be more than simple stress or tension. Could this be from overuse,strain,being exposed to cold drafts? Try heat applications & taking Tylenol. See your MD as needed.
