A chest X-ray may suggest heart issues, enlargement or calcifications for example. For proper diagnosis specific heart tests are usually needed.

Chest x-ray is not the optimum way to detect heart abnormalities, other than gross enlargement or gross calcification. Depending on your symptoms the doctor could carry out additional studies if warranted. Wish you good health!
