So my stomach is quite hard to touch. could this be ascites and how would i be able to tell if it's that or a beer belly. i was a heavy drinker for about 2 years. when i press on my skin it turns white and stays white for a few seconds too?

hardness of abdomen is not sign of ascites. It takes a long time for alcohol to damage the liver. Pl stop trying to diagnose your symptoms for you will only worry and be always wrong. Plsee your doc for a good health checkup. Good luck
