There may have been misunderstanding, your primary care doc did not see enough to worry about. Best would be to have a nephrologist follow your kidney function, stay well hydrated avoid nephrotoxic drugs and/or supplements.

Concern is legitimate -worry is not. Good news that your GFR has stayed the same. eat a healthy diet, mod. exercise, drink adequate amt of water, moderate alcohol and regular checkups with GFRs and you should be OK for a very very long time. Wish you the best
