I am taking tablets for seizures. i took eptoin 100 mg twice a day, but due to its side effects like over growth of jaw in my teeth my doctor prescribed levipil 500 mg. now my doubt is whether both these tablets are equal bcoz the dosage differs?

Discuss with ur doc: Medications differ & standard dosing is set by research. Just because one is listed as 100 mg & the other 500 mg does not mean they are not equal in effectiveness. Dose amounts are set at the lowest quantity that provides the desired effect.
