I had a endoscopy yesterday to check my barretts esophagus. they said my results were good and barretts was undetectable on the endoscopy. can barretts esophagus heal up? she told me to keep the same meds and recheck in a year . thanks?

I find mixed messages as to Barrett's esophagus healing with only medical treatment and diet. Nevertheless it can recur so rechecking in a year or so is reasonable advice.
