Not yet: Barretts is an uncommon complication. it takes more than 10-20 years to develop. So you do not need to worry about it right now or until later in life..... if your symptoms are difficult to control with prilosec. For now take Prilosec either daily(for 6-8 weeks and then as needed which may be every other day or only if your stomach feels 'acidic'
