A pelvic exam should be done for ruling out a secondary cause of urinary incontinence such as prolapse. You should see a GYN doctor and if the pelvic exam does not reveal any significant abnormality, you will be instructed pelvic floor exercises.

It is to be diagnosed and treated. Pl see a Urologist for without a good exam an exact diagnosis can not be made. In the meantime avoid constipation and take your time emptying your bladder when you get the urge. Good luck.
