Since the summer i have had symptoms of herniated disc. a few days ago i had a fever for 2 days and fatigue. the fever went away on the third day and i'm fine. but i did the kernig test in which i lifted my leg and the nerve hurt. i have meningitis?

No, you do not describe meningitis, but sounds like you have sciatica afflicting at least one leg. Most likely secondary to the prior herniated disc, which may be compressing a nerve root. See your doctor and get an updated exam, with therapeutic advice.
