Wouldn't Guess Here: Presentation of meningitis in 1 year old can be so tricky to distinguish from anything else that if you're even thinking m then, the child needs to be seen by a pediatrician and if you're still not convinced seek out a pediatric neurologist. By the numbers, odds are in favor of the cold...But as the title says...I wouldn't guess here. Reassurance by an expert who can examine the baby...Priceless!
