Meningitis : Meningitis can be viral or bacterial. Sensitivity to light, fever, chills, severe headache, and neck stiffness are classic signs. A lumbar puncture and analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid will help make the diagnosis. Your primary medic doctor may refer you to a neurologist or neurosurgeon for evaluation.
