I suffer from acute anxiety. i wake up 2/3times a night and cant stay asleep. had a major op in may and since i have loose stools/diarrhoea daily. seeing a gastro dr tomorrow, but should i be concerned it something serious?

You are doing the right thing by seeing gastroenterology as that will help clarifying and give you peace of mind. Diarrhea is relatively common following abdominal surgeries, specifically following small bowel removal, other causes for diarrhea will be ruled out as well. You will definitely benefit from having your anxiety addressed.
