The typical dose is 2 tabs twice a day, however you should follow your prescriber’s recommendations based on details of your case. In case you were advised to increase the dose if not having side effects then you are doing the right thing. Otherwise the approval for increasing the dose should come only from your current prescriber.

Some patients are prescribed 2 pills every 12 hours, but because you were prescribed only 1 pill every twelve hours, the important thing to do is to contact your doctor and inform them that your current dosage is not providing adequate relief.
