Sharp sudden pain in right ear only, that comes & goes, happening from 3 weeks now. it happens for 1 min & then goes, sometimes ear is fine for 3-4 days too. started after recovery from flu & cough. i have no cough/flu now. should i visit the doctor?

Although not feasible to be precise based upon posted information, one might wonder about periodic blockage of the eustachian tube. If no structural issues can be uncovered during an ENT exam, might also consider Nervus Intermedius Neuralgia. If the attacks do not depart, see your physician.
