You have no cause for worry. Any source advising more than 6 weeks (or 45 days) misunderstands the test or wrongly is confused with other tests, not AgAb (4th generation) HIV blood tests. The only exception is when anti-HIV drugs are taken for post-exposure prophylaxis. If PEP fails, it can take up to 6 weeks after the last dose of drug.
