This syndrome is somewhat difficult to treat because symptoms are partly psychosomatic in origin. A multidisciplinary approach is required so besides your family doctor, you should see a urologist for certain urologic tests if not done yet and you also need to learn cognitive behavior therapy from a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Avoid too many spices, colas, acidy food, alcohol, coffee and tea. Stay on the med given by your Urologist. Then practice trying to hold your urine by distracting yourself with any activity music, conversation etc a few minutes at a time till the interval increases. If you are on any med for that stay on it. If you have not seen a Urlogist pl see one. I'm sure you will improve. Good luck
