Yesterday morning i got a small slight cut on my thumb. i cleaned it properly after 10hours work, today my thumb is twice the size it should be and painful i have soaked it 3 times in antiseptic and used topically antiseptic do i need antibiotics?

You should have cleansed the skin immediately and not after 10 hours. Double the size swelling and tenderness seems to be indicating infection. You may need x-rays and be evaluated for possible infection of the wound, getting cultures taken before starting antibiotics.
