I have a long history of raised mchc. it is now over 36.5 over the last two years i have been feeling cellularly dehydrated. i'm wondering if you can tell me as to why this might be. i have a history of low alkaline phosphatase linked to wilson's dis?

If you have liver problem due to Wilson disease, mildly elevated MCHC is due to the liver problem and episodic hemolysis.

There is no way to' feel' 'cellularly dehydrated' you must stay under the care of a hematologist for the cause of the MCHC and your doc for the other problem. Once these are taken care of you will feel better. Good luck
