What size is a normal lymph nodes? online is says 1/2 inch then on other places online it says 1cm?

It has to do with the unit of measurement more than anything, 1-1.25 cm ( ~1/2 inch) remain in general at the upper limit of what is considered to be normal. However, while size is important, dynamics and characteristics ( such as painful/ painless, fixed/mobile) are much more important, specifically for enlarging lymph nodes.
