A member asked:

I did a std test for hiv, chalymdia, syphillis 3 weeks after sex (protective sex). i tested negative. is 3 weeks enough time for this to be a conclusive result?

Three weeks is too soon to rule out many STDs. Visit this site for information: https://www.cdc.gov/std/default.htm Wish you good health!

Most of the time yes. HIV AND SYPHILIS MAY REQUIRE RETESTING AT 3 MONTHS
