I have very dense breasts and, along a dual mammogram, just got an ultrasound of my left breast. should i ask my doctor for an ultrasound of my right breast?

Typically, breast ultrasound is done if there are any areas of concern or needing clarification on the mammogram. Since the Dr only did an ultrasound on the left breast, the assumption is that there were no areas of concern in the right breast.

If the doctor sees any signs of necessity than it would be done. Ask anyways for peace of mind.
