Since some studies have noted that aneurysms typically must be larger than 9 mm prior to rupture, the recommendations make sense. The headaches are NOT caused by the aneurysm and may be due to sinusitis, TMJ or dental issues, neck problems, or tension cephalgia but more likely migraine mechanisms. A medical neurologist who deals with headaches would be the next step.
