What do you suggest i am flushing on average once or twice a day after the first day and change the catheter average every third day it stops up an will not flush. i began with a 16 guage catheter and changed it to a 18 guage it helped?

I suggest you discuss this with the urologist as they are the one who is ordering the catheter. Do you have blood clots? other debris, crystals or burning ( suggesting infection). They should exam the urine , Discuss with urologist.
