Sediment in urine with an indwelling urinary catheter isn't necessarily abnormal. A urinalysis with a microscopic examination of the spun down sediment and a urine culture & colony count is a way to check for abnormalities in the urine.

At the time the catheter is changed have it irrigated several times and see if they can use a silastic or non rubber catheter. Increase your water intake. Sediment and secretions clouding the urine form after a few days of the catheter change and is the reaction of the bladder to the catheter in it.
