This is likely an Arthus reaction, part of the way the body tries to wall off toxins from entering the system/ Local capillaries leak serum into the tissues which dilutes the material. Antihistamines for the itch and time will usually be all that is needed. If it spooks you talk to your doc.

Wash area with soap and water and get Benadryl from drugstore and apply to area. Your symptoms are normal and the Benadryl is for allergic reactions.
