It could very well be an inner ear issue. There are a variety of structures in the inner ear area that are sensitive to position, inflammation, fluid problems and blood pressure problems. You have obviously been examined and referred for the MRI, next step would be to seek the input of an ENT (ears, nose, throat) specialist. There may be some simple interventions that can help.
