eGFR 60 is lower normal limit of filtering function of kidney at your age. In case you have an underlying kidney condition, closer follow-up is likely to follow and more attention should be paid not to further deteriorate kidney function, e.g., minimize analgesic use.

It is part of kidney function and the results have to be co-related with other tests and reason to have it done before a final ansewer can be given.
