Discuss this with your treating dentist. I am unaware of a specific interaction between propanolol and lidocaine.

Best to be injected with Carbocaine 3%[Mepivacine] since it contains no epinephrine. You are being treated for anxiety and a local anesthetic, lidocaine could cause anxiety to increase since it contains epinephrine. Tell your dentist about your history.
