I'm taking a second round of diflucan for yeast infection (third pill). how can i determine if i am healing because the yeast is still there but it is not as bad as a week ago??

Yeast infections are notoriously difficult to eradicate as there is a lot of drug resistance in the yeast organisms. Continued treatment is the correct answer, and you can tell you are healing if over time the infection is less and less. It may take several weeks or more.
