The Romberg Test is a physical finding which may explain spinal column disease or similar conditions affecting equilibrium and proprioception, or balance. Typically I have a patient stand upright, eyes closed, with feet together and arms and palms up in front. A positive test is if they sway and lose their balance and step away. Its best used in the right clinical context.

Rhomberg testing is nonspecific and can be abnormal due to numerous neurological and even psychological issues. It must be clinically correlated with your symptoms and testing. Mild swaying would be positive, but would not necessarily be definitive. Discuss with your doctor, who knows you best, what this means referrable to your health situation.
