Biologically the testes are internal (abdominal) organs and have "visceral" nerves. Pain via visceral nerves often is poorly localized. It can be hard to know the exact location of a problem causing pain inside the abdomen, and also difficult to localize testicular or other genital pain. Your discomfort may be prostate, testicular, epididymis, or none of these. Keep working with your urologist.

Cotusion can have that effect. Wear a good scrotal support and use a heating pad for a few days and you should be OK in a few days.
