You have to treat the cause of the amnesia, i.e the anxiety. You can do that by yourself by confronting the issues and solve them or you can seek professional help for coaching you in cognitive behavior therapy. Do not rely on sleeping pills and you need to practice sleep hygiene + deep breathing technique (inspiration 2 secs, hold breath 4 secs and expiration 6 secs) for initiating sleep.
