Various causes: Causes to think about would include costochondritis or a pericarditis. Costochondritis is an inflammation of where the ribs come around and attach to your sternum. This can cause pain with movement of the chest wall (breathing, bending/moving). Pericarditis is an inflammation of the skin tissue surrounding the heart. It can hurt more with moving or breathing also. A doc can help sort this out.
