Please consult a doctor at your earliest. If you have chronic UTI that goes untreated it could result in kidney failure.

Kidney pain in the background of persistent urinary tract infection is a serious matter if your problem(s) were diagnosed correctly. If you use the word drowsy accurately, drowsiness is not due to pain but it is likely the pain pill's side effect. I think you need to get a second opinion for the current conditions.
