A member asked:

I have lost 23 pounds in 3 months and am having strange blood results, any ideas? occasional neutropenia, chronically low rdw, high a/g ratio (2.6, albumin 5.1, globulin 2.0), high iron (177), saturation 55, and also having bone pain. thank you?

That pattern should lead you to a full diagnostic evaluation at a specialty center where they can identify a cause. The symptoms and lab cited is not specific to one illness, but is worrisome.

Unintended weight loss is a cause for concern and you ought to see your doctor for initial evaluation. A consultation with a GI specialist may be needed. Wish you good health!
