My apoe gene is e4/e4. i'm 32. when should i get tested for alzheimer's? i do get migraines, when i get them i have light/sound sensitivity, and brain fog. though, i haven't had one in a while since i've been avoiding known triggers.what should i do?

There are no reliable tests for determining Alzheimer's in an asymptomatic person. E4 is risk factor, not diagnostic of dementia. Live you life as you would if you were not E4. For diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV vaccine. The APOE phenotype profiles are risk susceptibility markers and not confirmatory. The most accurate picture of abnormal brain metabolism is a PET scan, but very costly. Not clear as to why you are concerned. Do see a neurologist for migraine help and discuss further
