Barefoot is a contraindication when you have plantar fasciitis. You should always wear slipper in your house and wear appropriate footwear (with cushion) outdoor.

As stated by Dr Le do not go barefooted. However you might require stretching of Achilles’ tendon, wearing appropriate support in the arch. Custom orthotics might be required. See a podiatrist for diagnosis and care.
