My blood tests showed normal levels of amylase (81) and lipase (26). comp metabolic panels are all in range. however, ct scan showed chronic inflammation on the pancreas tail and body. is this a good indication of pancreatic cancer?

Changes suggesting cancer are different, they usually are described as masses or nodules, the above reading suggests only inflammation as seen in pancreatitis, most commonly caused by toxicity (alcohol/drugs) or gallstones. Your doc remains your best resource in placing above findings in proper context.
