Maybe/not. If you are not paying out of pocket, these specialized tests are often subject to pre-authorization by the health insurer who has a list of what would qualify (symptoms/other tests) & who can order it before they would agree to pay for it. Some GP's might, some would leave it to a cardiologist to see who needs such a procedure.
