Question. ive read a lot of different information. is soap okay on the anus; or around it? i use a wash cloth and clean the area with soap, but i feel like its not all the way clean. theres some odor. do i just use warm water instead?

Common bath soap is fine. I would avoid soaps with imbedded fragrance as these can trigger sensitivity reactions. Any soap film not completely rinsed with water can trigger itching.

Soap and water is fine. As advised earlier using a bidet may help with your obsession for cleanliness.
