The area will be anesthetized you might feel a pinprick. You should be fine. Next time when a procedure is proposed ask about it in detail.

There will be some pain as is always the case when tissue is disturbed. The pain is transient and any dis-comfort after the procedure should respond to an over the counter pain medication like acetaminophen. Wish you good health!
