Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), the cause of infectious mononucleosis, is transmitted in by sexual fluids and saliva. Most people are infected with EBV before your age (during childhood), so it is likely your partner has been infected before and therefore immune to new infection. But if not, he could catch it from you for a few more weeks. Discuss with him so he can judge the risk and decide if OK.
