Are 5-year-old osmoprep tablets usable? long story short, dr ordered colonoscopy 5 years too soon but i'd already bought the prep at $50. pharmacist at the time said they would still be good in 5 years but now won't say one way or the other?

Most of these preparations will have a "use by" date that indicates the last point the maker will assure its full strength. You can use this product and it will likely be effective but may be less so than a new set. I would use it if needed and not worry about it.
