The tip of my coccyx is sore. theres a small, round and a very sore lump there. it's been there for a few months, but has gotten more painful. does it need intervention? i often sit in a way that puts pressure on it which is probably caused it?

Sometimes an infected hair follicle or cyst can develop in this area and these can become infected. If it hurts and interferes with your activities I would have it evaluated. Start with your regular doc. If they think it is worthy of more specialized care they will know who is available to take care of it.
