A week ago. i looked in my throat and saw a tiny whitish lump on my tonsil. it looks almost like a pus-filled bubble - round, smooth, superficial, no more than 2mm. i cant touch it, but it looks like it would be soft. what could it be?

That is called a tonsil stone or a tonsillolith. Tonsil stones or tonsilloliths form when debris, such as food, dead cells, bacteria, and other substances, becomes trapped on the tonsils. You can read more from this link: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/21505-tonsil-stones
