My orthodontist moved my upper jaw backward. i don't like it. can she move it forward again, so my lower jaw could be moved more forward?

It all has to do with the mechanics of a healthy bite, much more important than your perception, liking or disliking the appearance of it. Talk to your loved ones about how they find the appearance of your teeth now. Body dysmorphic disorder is frequently missed and may result in severe body damage over time. A psychologist may help in clarifying.

It's extremely difficult to move an upper jaw back in a growing adolescent, practically impossible in a non-growing adult, Whether or not jaw moved back can be evaluages=d with lateral jaw cephalometric x-rays. Discuss your concerns with your Orthodontist.
