I do age determination for the govt. and immigration lawyers for over 25 years. I see bone growth patterns occurring earlier in Asians and West Africans than in other ethnicities. Wisdom teeth erupting before 18 years of age.

At 24 your lower-jaw to upper-jaw relationship is probably set. Speak to an Orthodontist about resolution of your bad bite. Class III malocclusions (google it) are more common in African Americans because of lower jaw protrusion, less so in Asians, where somme Class IIIs are caused by upper jaw recursion, and least common in caucasians.
