Family history is important, but if one has a healthy lifestyle than chances are good of no liver problems. No obesity, excess alcohol, healthy diet and exercise, no HEPATITIS disease, than few worries. Always get a physical at least once a year.

You are following health habits. You cannot control genes you inherited, you cannot control getting hit by lightening either. You can reduce your risk of cancer : Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, maintain healthy weight, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless.
