A member asked:

Are ekgs, 2 week monitors and a blood test enough to test heart health? i'm a 21 year old, healthy weight, just started working out after a while and no previous family history. i have really bad anxiety and keep doubting my healthy results?

From what you described, you do not have any physical heart issues. You may need to seek counselling for your anxiety. Regular aerobic exercise will help in improving your mood. Wish you good health!

A 2D-echo heart is also part of a typical cardiac workup with attention on possible valve abnormalities and if justifiable in your clinical context. Would suggest therapy for your anxiety regardless, talk to your do about local resources for cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT.
