A member asked:

Why do i have stitches when running, i've never had them during the summer when running 6 laps . it started on tuesday when i tried to run a really fast 2 lap, then after that day i'd get stitch every day after 2 lap. my speed is the same?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

“Stitches” is when The diaphragm goes into spasm. This is a very common problem with runners. I have found a very successful to possibly exhale forcefully 3-4 times quickly and then repeating as needed.
